Ms. Keiffaber will discuss how HIM roles, technical and management, change in the EMR environment. Ms. Keiffaber will also discuss what skill set to look for when interviewing for e-HIM positions.
In an attempt to reduce consumption and waste, OHIMA will be offering a paperless option for the speaker handouts.
New this year, you may choose a CD containing speaker presentations in lieu of the printed handouts. The CD will be distributed at the meeting and choosing this option will also give you the opportunity to view/print speaker handouts from our website prior to the meeting. Speaker presentations will be available online one week prior to the seminar for only those registering for the CD option.
All registrations received after the Early Bird deadline of 9/22 will automatically receive the CD option.

$125 for OHIMA Members (Current active AHIMA members residing in or choosing Ohio as state association). $150 for Non-OHIMA Members $ 35 for OHIMA Student Members* (Current student AHIMA members residing in or choosing Ohio as state association - see below for further definition).
* DEFINITION OF STUDENT MEMBER: Students who do not have an AHIMA credential and have not previously been Active members of AHIMA and have chosen Ohio as state association. Must also meet at least one of two educational criterias:
1. currently enrolled in an accredited CAHIIM HIM program
2. currently enrolled in an approved AHIMA medical coding program
Note that 'New Graduate Members' do not qualify for the student rate.

Monday, September 22, 2008 to receive the Early Bird discount. Fees increase $15 as of September 23rd. If paying by check, registration and payment must be postmarked and mailed no later than September 22nd. After this date, only credit card payments will be accepted. Onsite registrations will be accepted, but will incur an additional $15 fee. Credit card payments will be not be accepted onsite - only cash or check.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Registration fees will be refunded (less a $20 processing fee) if notice is received by Friday, September 19, 2008. No refund will be issued for cancellations received after this date. Substitutions of registrants is permitted, please contact OHIMA with your name and the name, employer, and title of your substitute.
