Executive Board Meeting

September 18, 2003

Executive Board Members: Ron Keith-Past President, Susan Schehr- President, Carrie Newport-Secretary, Roxanne Malone-Treasurer, met to discuss the upcoming educational meetings. The following topics were discussed:

• Discussed that we may move meetings back to Cincinnati State and members can check their website for meeting dates and times.
• We need to take a poll to decide if the date/time of meetings should be changed.
• Gail will try to find a Student liaison: Karen will assist her with the sponsor board.
• The scholarship winner may help with GCHIMA.
• Directors for OHIMA.
• DQRC: Margie Nimeskern & June Bronnert
• GCHIMA Networking: Candy Grannis
• Special Interest: We still need to fill
• We will thank SMART, Kira Webster, for sponsoring meeting.
• The University of Toledo - HIM Bachelor’s degree
• Discussed upcoming Nov. 7^th seminar: Roadmap to a Successful 2003 Survey & JCAHO’s New 2004 Survey Process.
