Executive Board Meeting

Summer 2003

Executive Board Members: Ron Keith-Past President, Susan Schehr- President, Carla Nadeja- Vice-President, Carrie Newport-Secretary, Roxanne Malone-Treasurer, Candiss Grannis- Networking Director, and Joann Blackwell met to discuss the upcoming educational meetings. The following topics were discussed:

• The proposed dates for educational meetings are: 9/18/03, 11/20/03, 1/15/04, and 5/20/04. The Spring Workshop may be held on 3/20/04 at Cincinnati State.
• Educational Meetings will continue to be held from 3:00 – 6:00 with the board meetings starting at 2:00 at the VA Medical Center.
• Ideas for vendors should be sent to Carla. Vendors will be asked to provide food and door prizes.
• Our goal is to increase our membership from 70 members to 90 members.
• Susan will ask Gail Smith who our student liaison is.
• Candy will send a message to Amy Dotts with the new officers’ names.
• Membership letters will be sent out via postal mail and members will e asked to include their e-mail addresses.
• Student scholarships will remain at $500.
• Discussed that we need volunteers for Liaison, Special Interest and Liaison, DQRC.
