What do I love about OHIMA? The community! Attending an OHIMA event is like coming home for a big family reunion.  Catching up with friends and colleagues, old and new, and seeing students who interned with me blossom into successful young professionals- that’s the BEST!  Immersing myself into the educational content and exchanging ideas and stories always leaves me feeling invigorated and ready to face the challenges of my work. Finally, the opportunity to be immersed into new services and technologies that vendors are showcasing, has me pulling out my notepad every time to make a shopping list for the upcoming budget year. I get all of this goodness because of OHIMA!

There are no separate membership dues to belong to OHIMA. Active student members of AHIMA who choose Ohio as their state component association automatically become student members of OHIMA as well. If you are an active AHIMA member but do not live in Ohio, you may still choose Ohio/OHIMA as your state association within your AHIMA profile.
