*AHIMA CEUs are also accepted by the AAPC - check eligibility on the AAPC website.
**Attendees can also claim up to 2 additional CEUs for spending time in the Exhibit Hall (1 CEU for spending 1 hour per day, with maximum of 2 per conference)!

Attendees can find CEU information on each educational session's description in the agenda. Attendance will be tracked onsite. Once the conference closes, OHIMA will upload your CEUs into your OHIMA profile. In your OHIMA profile, attendees can download or save a CEU report from OHIMA23. Please note that attendees will still need to enter OHIMA23 CEUs in your AHIMA CEU Center (they will NOT transfer automatically). Any questions - contact the OHIMA Central Office.


MATERIALS & WHOVA

We are going "clean and green" at OHIMA23! All attendees will navigate OHIMA23 using the conference platform, Whova. We will have very limited paper materials onsite. Attendees will use Whova for the agenda, presentation handouts, exhibit hall directory and map, discussion boards, etc. Attendees will receive an email with access instructions on how to download and access OHIMA23 in Whova in March. If you don't receive this email, contact [email protected] for assistance.

 


 Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect and interact with speakers, other attendees and exhibitors within Whova. Whova offers discussion boards, chats and Q&A within educational sessions, individual messaging and more! Onsite networking opportunities include:



We are headed back to the Hilton Columbus at Easton (3900 Chagrin Drive, Columbus, OH 43219) for OHIMA23! Reserve your hotel room by Monday, February 27th to take advantage of the discounted room rate of $212. Reservations received after February 27, 2023 or after the room block has been filled are subject to availability. Beware of fraudulent housing claims by using our link or calling the hotel directly (614-414-5000).

Keep in mind when registering that this conference is in-person only (there is no virtual option to attend).

REGISTER to attend OHIMA23 and choose which days to attend! Attend all three days of OHIMA23 to earn up to 17 AHIMA CEUs* (*AHIMA CEUs are also accepted by the AAPC - check eligibility on the AAPC website). Professional OHIMA Members who register for all three days will receive a $60 discount! This discount does not apply to other already discounted member categories (Student, Emeritus, New Members). 

Register by February 28th to take advantage of discounted Early Bird registration rates. Registration is now fully online (paper registration forms are no longer available). Credit cards, debit cards and checks are accepted forms of payment for registration. Your registration is NOT complete until we receive your payment. Registration must be received AND payment must be postmarked by February 28th for the Early Bird registration rates to apply. Registration rates online will automatically calculate based on the days you are attending AND your member status. The Pre-Registration deadline is March 14, 2023.

  •  Membership Status Questions
    • In order to qualify for the OHIMA Member rate, you must be a 2023 Professional AHIMA/OHIMA Member (formerly called "Active Member"). Other discounted registration rates (Student, Emeritus, New Member) are based on your AHIMA/OHIMA member status. 
    • If you have questions about your Member Status or believe that your Member Status is incorrect, please contact the OHIMA Central Office. 
    • If you wish to renew your membership or join AHIMA/OHIMA to take advantage of discounted registration rates, please complete the Membership Form on the AHIMA website and indicate Ohio as your state association.  Then, email the confirmation to the OHIMA Central Office to have our system updated immediately and see discounted registration rates applied.
  •  Paying with a Check 
    • If paying by check, we must RECEIVE it by the Early Bird deadline of February 28th. This still applies if your employer is mailing the check! Plan accordingly. If you prefer to go back and pay with a credit card, you can click the link within your open invoice that was emailed to you with your registration confirmation. Mail payment to:

  • Onsite registration will be available but registration rates will increase by $20.

 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY & DISCLAIMERS

Registration fees will be refunded less a $25 processing fee if notice is received by March 3, 2023. Cancellations received after this date will not receive a refund.

Speakers/sessions may be subject to change without notice.

If the conference must go virtual due to federal, state, or local regulations, then the registrations of attendees will be transferred to virtual automatically.

Important notice about COVID-19: Please note any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and OHIMA cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while attending the event. By registering to attend OHIMA23, you agree to follow OHIMA's safety policies, as well as local, state and federal laws and restrictions.
